CORRECTION: In the recent (November) Morningview Homes Association Newsletter our statements about WCA and trash pickup were not completely correct.
A more accurate statement our agreement with WCA is that: If our service day (Thursday) falls on or after one of three holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or NewYear's Day), then our trash pickup is DELAYED by one day.
The practical application is that this year (2019) trash will be picked up on the Friday after Thanksgiving, the Friday after Christmas and the Friday after New Year's Day 2020. No other holidays affect our trash pickup.
As a side note, our contract allows for the pickup of unlimited yard waste bags through November, after which we revert to the typical 7 bag maximum. The fifty-pound maximum weight for yard waste bags always applies.
