The city's warning system equipment consists of analysis equipment stationed strategically along water basins which track both precipitation and water levels. Using this data the city can then actually anticipate water level trends and move to prevent future flooding. This website allows access to the current readings of the stations on the system, maps and images pulled from instantaneous and trend data, and queries of past precipitation and water levels for locations throughout the city.
